At Lama Adventure And Treks, we understand that flight cancellations can be an unexpected inconvenience, especially when traveling in remote mountainous regions of Nepal. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, particularly in areas like Lukla, Jomsom, or other high-altitude destinations, flight delays and cancellations are fairly common. In such cases, Himalayan Elite will assist clients by coordinating with airlines for rebooking on the next available flight. However, it is important to note that airline policies and availability may affect immediate solutions. If flights are canceled for an extended period, we can also arrange alternative transportation such as helicopter services or overland travel, depending on the location and feasibility, at the client’s expense. We strongly recommend travelers include sufficient buffer days in their itineraries and secure comprehensive travel insurance that covers flight cancellations and delays.
