Our itinerary may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays, road conditions, adverse weather, natural disasters, new government regulations, political issues, or health concerns.
We will assess the situation to determine the best alternatives to continue the trek. We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility. It's recommended to arrive a day before the trip begins so you have time to rest or purchase any necessary clothing, equipment, and gear for the trek.It's also advisable to schedule your international flights with extra days in Nepal before and after your trek in case of any technical-related flight delays or cancellations.
Day 2 : Drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu and walk to Pairo (1,770 m)
Breakfast at Hotel Anuttara and drive to Syabrubesi.
Note: After breakfast, there will be a pre-trek meeting at Hotel Anuttara. During the meeting, we will
introduce you to the trek leader/guide. Please take this opportunity to ask questions about the trek.
We will also provide you with a duffel bag. Please take this time to repack items needed for the trek
into the duffel bag. This will be carried by the porter during the trek. Luggage storage is available at
Hotel Anuttara. Please ensure to keep all valuables with you. Please prepare a daypack carrying your essentials such as quick-dry T-shirt, water bottle(s), electrolytes and snacks. Please ensure you bring your passport, two copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy for the meeting. The drive to Syrabrubesi, the starting point of the trek, is about six hours. Upon reaching there, we begin our trek on the beautiful trail and walk upwards to Pairo for about 1-2 hours.

Day 3 : Trek to Ghodatabela (3,000 m)
After breakfast in the morning, we walk to Ghodatabela, which takes about 7 to 8 hours. We will be following the Langtang river, gradually ascending through forest paths. We take a lunch break at Lama Hotel after 3-4 hours walk; then journeying into lush forests. Then, we ascend onto a steeper trail which trail winds through lush forests, Tamang villages, numerous waterfalls and spectacular mountain views to conclude our day in Ghodatabela.

Day 4 : Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m)
Today’s walk from Ghodatabela to Kyanjin Gompa takes about 6-7 hours, taking breaks along the trail, allowing time for acclimatization.
The ascending trail takes us through the small villages of Mundu (3,442 m), past impressive rocks carved with Tibetan script, and alongside large Chortens. We will visit yak cheese factories to sample the freshest locally produced cheese, and taste freshly baked goods in artisan bakeries upon arrival.

Day 5 : Trek to Kyanjin Ri (4,400 m) and Trek Back to Ghodatabela (3,000 m)
Begin the day at 5 am to reach Kyanjin Ri (4,400 m), a 1-2 hour trek from Kyanjin Gompa. Tea and light snacks will be provided. Experience an unforgettable sunrise and panoramic views of Langtang peaks.
After enjoying the scenery, return to Kyanjin Gompa for breakfast. We walk to Langtang Village (3,430 m) for lunch. Post-lunch, rest briefly before a 5-6 hour descent to Ghodatabela (3,050 m).

Day 6: Trek Back to Bamboo from Ghodatabela (3,000 m)
We start our day with a descent experiencing a drastic change in elevation.The trail then takes us on a steep downhill trek, passing through charming villages such as Chhunama, Changdam, and Riverside, before finally arriving at Rimche (2,450 m) / Lama Hotel (2,470 m).

Day 7 : Trek to Syabrubesi from Bamboo. Drive to Kathmandu
Today marks the final day of our trekking adventure. We will descend through villages and lush, dense forests that line the Langtang Khola. Our journey will include a stop for light snacks at Pairo.
Following our break, we will continue our trek for approximately 2 hours, reaching Syabrubesi. Here, we will drive back to Kathmandu from Saybrubesi following the same road along the Trishuli River (Lunch en-route).
Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the streets of Thamel and enjoy a celebration dinner with your guide.

Duration: 6 hours trek, 6-7 hours jeep ride

Day 8 : Free day in Kathmandu, Transfer to the International Airport for Your Final Flight Departure
Free day in Kathmandu. Suggested activities are city tour in Kathmandu, shopping in Thamel areadependent on your travel plans.
The trip concludes – our airport representative will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.

Is prior trekking experience required for this trek?
No, prior trekking experience is not mandatory for the Langtang Valley Trek. However, a moderate level of physical fitness is recommended as the trek involves ascending to high altitudes and walking for several hours each day.
What is the accommodation like on the trek?
Accommodation on the trek consists mostly of basic teahouses. These are dormitory-style guesthouses with shared bathrooms. In Kathmandu, you will stay in a 4- star hotel on a twinsharing basis. Private rooms are available at an additional cost of USD 50 /night.
Are meals included during the trek?
Yes, all standard meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included during the trek. Meals are prepared using local produce, and vegetarian options are widely available.
Do I need a guide for the trek?
Yes, having a guide is compulsory for the Langtang Valley Trek. An experienced trekking guide will ensure your safety, help with navigation, and provide insights into the local culture and environment.
